Hello, 

I am a female veterinarian working in Chicago, IL who is now an empty nester.  With my children grown and on their own, I have much more time to travel.  I enjoy visiting different countries outside of the US, but also have traveled extensively throughout the US.  I am fully employed and work as an independent contractor so I can schedule time away while keeping my business.  Caring for animals is very important to me and I hire pet sitters when I travel as I want them well cared for.  Fortunately, my son is an aspiring veterinarian and he cares for my animals now that he is independent so I don't have to hire anyone.  I love all animals but have the most experience with dogs, cats, exotic pets.  If you would like references, please feel free to ask me.   Additionally, I have petsit in the past before becoming a veterinarian. As a person, I am extremely respectful, considerate, tidy, fairly handy and responsible.  My pets and I have traveled extensively throughout the US and I have been reviewed by homeowners on by many people who have properties.  I would be happy to provide you with their reviews as well.  In addition to my experience and compassion for animals, I enjoy biking, hiking, water activities, yoga, reading, meditation and exploring.
