Hello! My name is Kate and I am originally from California, USA. My main profession is as a scuba diving instructor, although I have also worked in real estate and hospitality. I recently left my fast paced job in investment real estate to slow down and reconnect with my love of travel and the outdoors. I am currently taking some time to travel and explore before deciding where I want to settle next.
I have extensive travel experience and I particularly enjoy remote and tropical locations. I am an experienced house and pet sitter, with specific experience in rural island locations.
I previosuly lived and worked in Hawaii and the Virgin Islands. While living in the Virgin Islands I housesat and cared for two cats and a garden for 6 months of the time I was there. I love animals and have a lot of experience taking care of different pets (dogs, cats, rats, turtles, lizards, chickens, etc).
I am passionate about nature and love spending time outdoors. I have a lot of experience gardening and taking care of house plants and would love to care for your garden! I love the ocean and beach and I am happiest when I am not too far from the water. I am very active and adventurous and love exploring new places. Reading is one of my favorite hobbies and being introverted I also love to spend time on own. I really enjoy solo traveling and spending time immersed in a good book.
I am mature, responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. I am very respectful, tidy, organized, and concientious. I do not smoke and am very quiet and easy going. I like to keep spaces very clean and I am also quite handy. I am an excellent communicator and will be in touch as much (or little) as you request.
