My name is Bonita. I am a 68 year old registered nurse, working an average of 30 to 40 hours a month for a hospice organization in Ft Collins, Colorado. I was a country girl for at least half of my life and have always had animals (mostly dogs and cats) and would not want to live without them. They bring so much love and joy to our lives. Now that we live in the city and have a small yard, we just have 2 cats. Since I am semi-retired, I enjoy occasional retreats away from the hubbub and cacophony of life relaxing with a few furry people!! I am a mellow person and a nonsmoker. My hobbies include reading, crocheting, gardening, hiking and exploring the good ol’ USA.
The majority of my sits are just me but if there’s ever a chance my hubby could get away for a couple days and join me, I would love it, and so would he. He grew up on a farm, is a gentle, loving soul, and had quite a menagerie of pets growing up including a pet pig named Pork Chop who waited for him right beside the dogs at the school bus stop every afternoon!
Other mundane data about me: I like clean and uncluttered! I lean more toward eastern medicine than western medicine! My house is a jungle; I love nurturing and caring for plants!!
My favorite quote and words I live by: "I meant what I said and I said what I meant, and I am faithful 100%" ........from Horton Hatches the Egg....Dr. Suess.
