My wife and I are traveling the country, exploring several states, and visiting friends and family along the way. Fortunately, we are both able to do this with flexible jobs that allow us to work from anywhere and even at odd hours (as long as we have decent internet access of course).
We are both huge animal lovers. In fact, when we met 10 years ago we actually bonded over the fact we were both part-time dog walkers/sitters at one point. And loved every minute of it!
Unfortunately we are unable to sit if there have been smokers in the house my wife has bad allergies and asthma. She also has some chronic health issues so we currently have a service dog. He is a joyful 20-pound non-shedding and hypoallergenic Shih Tzu-poodle mix (multiple photos of him are posted above). TJ is low-maintenance and gets along with every human and animal he encounters. But he also likes to sleep a lot outside of our long AM and PM daily walks ;-)
We are a complete petsitting duo: I am the exercise “director” aka the thrower of balls, tug-of-war partner, and 2/3 times a day walker for them and my wife cannot stop being affectionate with petting and/or cuddling or just offering her lap depending on their preference.
I am an Army veteran who was stationed in Washington DC for 12 years with a National Security Clearance. This entailed performing for Presidents Bush and Obama and many Diplomats on a regular basis. My wife graduated with a BBA from George Washington University. The two of us are very clean non-smokers who much prefer quiet evenings at home hanging with pets to partying. We are very trustworthy and respectful and looking forward to new experiences... while hopefully meeting many loving pets along the way!
So if you are looking for someone to give your pets unconditional love and conversations (yes we love to joke in pretend conversations with animals- doesn't everyone? ha!) and have your home more than well maintained then we might be a perfect fit. Please contact us with any questions you may have and we have many references who would be happy to share their experiences.
Thank you for taking the time to read this... as you can see we find the little details quite important (like daily texts/pictures of pets but only if desired)!
