Hello!
Can I be of service by taking excellent care of your home, yard and animal friends? There are many wonderful places to see and folks to meet, so house sitting is the perfect way for me to explore your part of the world.
I have cared for my own house and land for 30 years, so I am comfortable dealing with issues that may arise. If you have any small projects to be done while you are away, I can coordinate with workers to make sure things go smoothly.
Through the years I have had cats, dogs, iguanas, horses and gerbils. I have cared for hens, unruly roosters, goats, horses and alpacas during my time WWOOF'ing (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms), with WorkAway and house sitting. The WWOOF'ing and WorkAway experiences included gardening, yard work, small renovations, decluttering & reorganizing among other things, all of which I am happy to talk with you about. I enjoy hikes and reading with an animal friend beside me. If your dog (or cat or hamster) likes to play fetch or frisbee, I can throw for hours!
During my time staying in your area, I will hike, bike, shovel if there is snow, work in the garden, read, write and cook. I would love to know of farmers' markets, music venues and other ways to meet locals.
I am looking for homes whose owners do not smoke cigarettes indoors as I am a non-smoker. I'd also like a place to safely park my car if I have one with me.
Let me know what other information and references (I have more clients since I last posted my references) you would like to have in order to feel comfortable entrusting your home to my care, including your expectations around Covid. Thanks, and I look forward to meeting you!
