I am a retired specialty contractor and my wife has retired from a 38-year nursing carer.  We have raised 4 children.  We are looking for varied travel experiences around the globe, however, we'd like to focus on southwestern Europe or Portugal at this time, if possible, but we're not limited there either.

My education and background have been in Landscaping Design and Horticulture, as well as specialty construction & refinishing.  Donna, my wife, has a BSRN degree and has been a dedicated nurse since I met her when she was in her last year of nursing school in 1982 until she retired in 2021.

We have a dog, an Australian Shephard of 9 years. 

We lived in Costa Rica from July 2022 to July 2024.  We still own a house in Coeur d'Alene, ID, and lived there from 1999 to this last July of 2022.  We have long-term tenants living there now as we plan to travel for the next 10 years or so.

We prefer house-sitting opportunities of 90 days or longer.
