We have successfully raised our kids and are ready for some new adventures.
We truly believe in leaving places nicer than we found them and simply doing the right thing. We love animals and are definitely not scared of getting a little dirty and/or some hard work. We are non-smokers, respectful, responsible and enjoy the outdoors.
We started out with "yours" & "mine", added an "ours" ... now we are enjoying "us".

I must admit, I had some hesitation having strangers stay in our home. Yet, given the length and timing of our trip, our regular folks were not abile to stay with our cat Zia, so given a positive recommendation from a friend of a friend, we connected with Housecarers and found Jay and Natalie. What a gift they were! They took great care of our condo (frankly, they left it in better condition than when we left, having taken care of some maintenance tasks we hadn't gotten to). They checked in while we were gone and set pics of Zia--I suspect she might wish they were back, since they were so good to her! We felt so confident that everything was being handled well in our absence. Jay and Natalie were so thoughtful, offering to pick us up from the airport, reaching out to see if they could purchase any staples for us to have when we got home, and leaving sweet little crocheted gifts around our condo that made us smile when we stumbled upon them. 10/10 recommend without any hesitation whatsoever!!

Jay and Natalie took care of our house and beloved kitty Maddie while we were away on a month-long trip, our first long trip in 3 ½ years. Having not been away from her for a while, we were a bit nervous about leaving our young cat with people she didn’t know. But we needn’t have worried, because Jay and Natalie took excellent care of her. She was a happy, sleek (from all the brushing she got), and relaxed cat upon our return.
Our house was very clean and appeared well taken care of. While gone, we received periodic emails to keep us updated on things at home, which we appreciated. Our neighbors remarked about what nice people Jay and Natalie are.
We recommend Jay and Natalie to anyone who needs a short or long term house sitter.

We feel so fortunate that Jay and Natalie found our ad and agreed to take care of our home and pets. They are wonderful people, experienced with a wide variety of critters. They did a marvelous job of tending to our 22 laying hens, 4 fish, 3 rats, and 1 Australian shepherd. Jay hit the trails with our Aussie almost every day and kept her happily exhausted. We were delighted by some beautiful pics while on our trip. They seemed to be chicken charmers too; our hens came out of their long laying hiatus and began producing eggs again while we were gone! Everything was spic and span when we arrived home, and they were flexible about our delayed return. We highly recommend them as house and pet carers.
