Retired professional couple from eastern Canada who have often traveled in Europe, with long stays in both France and Spain, and have housesitting flexibility on both time and location.
As owners of two properties, we have experience with maintenance requirements and do much of our own basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, gardening and landscape work. We just Welcomed Ella, our rescue mixed-breed, into our lives this year. We had lost our previous dog to cancer during the pandemic.
Chris has had varied work experiences through his life which have included life at isolated High Arctic Weather Stations, crewing on lobster fishing boats, golf course greens keeper. He has managed a few more cereberal pursuits as well.
After retiring from a busy professional career in law, Linda immersed herself in a variety of activities including choral singing, volunteer conservation work with a land trust, assisting new immigrants to integrate into Canadian life, and participation in numerous sports to stay physically active. During her legal career she managed to have two extended leaves of absence to travel for extended periods in Europe, New Zealand and Australia as well as in South America in 2013 with Chris.
