I have no pet sitting experience but I have owned my own home and have had many pets over the last 50 years (multiple cats, dogs, ponies and aquarium fish). I have owned and maintained multiple homes over the last half-century and I can fix almost anything in a house. I am equally comfortable in a mansion or a little beach cabaña, and will give the same care and respect to either. I'm good with dogs and cats and will make sure they are well-fed, exercised, and played with. I usually bond with a dog in just a few minutes but cats can be standoffish until they have observed me a while - then my lap becomes their new favorite place. Your home and pets will be well-treated while you are away.

I am a retired senior executive with an Alaskan heavy civil construction company. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker, I don't have raucous parties, I am educated and well-read, and I prefer neat, clean, orderly surroundings. I recently divorced and sold my house, so my dance card is empty and the world is my oyster. I'm ready to go anywhere.. I want to savor the world and I look forward to new adventures in new locales. I'd be happy to stay in the right place for a week or a year.
