I have been a homeowner for 45 years and had small dogs and lovebirds most of my adult life.

My Abbie died 3 years ago at age 15 and I now just have Max, my lovebird (he recently lost his mate). 

I am retired and live in the beautiful Mountains in California. I have traveled to lots of continents and countries and always enjoy the experience of how people live etc.

I enjoy the small things in life; nature, going on walks, practicing yoga and taking care of small dogs, cats or small birds, gardens, plants.

I prefer staying busy. I like cooking and just being around a comfortable house.

I am fluent in English and German (a little Spanish and a little French)

House sitting is the way for me to still 'travel' while having the company of your pet.
