We have a mini-poodle called Maxie who couldn't come with us on holiday. So we looked for someone to come and look after him for about 2 weeks in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. From first meeting Dale and George on a video-call, we were sure that they would make good house and pet-sitters. They were very flexible and accommodating regarding the time and arragnements and all the organization and agreements were done very easily and with a really friendly attitude. Once they arrived and we introduced them to Maxie and showed them around, we were even more reassured. Maxie took to George immediately (and dogs are very good judges of character!) and Dale seemed very confident in managing our anxious little dog, especially given her experience training dogs. We were very happy to leave Maxie with them and we think he had almost a good time staying home with George and Dale than we had on the beach in Greece! They sent plenty of videos of Maxie playing and running around, they took him for long walks, and even took him with to visit some family they had over here (where Maxie played with the kids). We were also very pleased when we came back that the house was organized and as we left it and that all the plants were still living (which hasn't been the case with previous house-sitters!). Despite having some trouble with our appliances, it seemed that George and Dale had a good time. I would recommend getting in touch with them if you are looking for pleasant, responsible, and pet-friendly house-sitters.

Dale and George exceeded my expectations ten-fold! They were brilliant with my senior dog and knew exacatly how to care for him (they are very expereinced dog people!). They continued his routine and took great care with his diet and his walks. He was very happy and relaxed when I returned home. He is still looking around the house for Dale and George as I type!
Dale and George also took great care of my house and I returned to a clean house and fresh laundry. I really appreciated this as i had to work the next day. They also cooked me a lovely meal on my return which was very welcome indeed. They left me some groceries too which was really welcome.
I would highly recommend Dale and George for any house-sit, especially if you have dogs. They were truly invested in looking after my old boy and I got regular updates on his progress via Whatsap. I honestly didn't need to worry about a single thing while I was away. Your house and dogs would defintiely be in safe hands with Dale and George.

Dale and George are kind and conscientious house and dog sitters. They have been generous with their availability and willingness to do anything we needed. They truly understand dogs, and we would not hesitate to have them back. We highly recommend this lovely couple.
