I've had cats for 54 years of my life. I've also had gerbils, fish, and parakeets. I'm not nervous around any animals. I've grown up with dogs and cats. My husband has shiba inu dogs and I really like that breed. For the last several years I have been fostering for our local animal shelter - cats.  I've also been petsitting for our local company and have taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and a turtle.

I've had moms birth kittens in my home, taken on ringworm, URIs, diabetes, and FCV. I know how to administer meds and give vaccinations. I work hard to socialize cats that are somewhat feral.

I grew up with aquariums in the house as my dad loved fish. We had a 100 gallon salt water tank and then koi ponds. I do prefer furry creatures over reptiles and snakes, but don't mind lizards and turtles.
