I am looking for someone to care for our darling five-year-old cat and for our house and garden for the period stated. Tia needs regular food, litter cleaning, and plenty of cuddles. The garden needs to be watered a couple of times a week.
Helensburgh has a mining history, with many beautifully restored miners' cottages, and is a sister town to Helensburgh in Scotland. It's a delightful little town, an oasis from the urban sprawl, yet so close to the CBD by train.
My home is a modern three-bedroom duplex in a quiet lane, walking distance to shops and public transport. By car or train, the huge shopping mall at Miranda is about 30 minutes to the north; a few minutes to the south are the delightful, pristine little beaches accessed by one of the most scenic coastal drives in the near south. Beach culture, cafes and shops make a visit to these villages a wonderful destination for a day out. The Royal National Park offers biking, picnic areas, swimming and everywhere there are bushwalking trails. Express trains offer a regular service to all areas of Sydney (about 51 minutes to the CBD) or south to Wollongong and the beautiful south coast.
Helensburgh village has all the shops, restaurants, cafes and services you need, as well as a free council pool.
It's an idea location for a break, whether you want peace and quiet or want a short trip to where the action is, wherever your interest lies.
