Roberta was helpful in giving me directions to where we could meet upon my arrival in Bolzano. She also gave me a tour of Bolzano which helped me enjoy my stay even more and eventually I knew exactly how to return to her comfortable home. Around the corner is a grocery store where I was able to buy what I needed during my stay. Also, down the street from her home, there are restaurants and I found Batzen has wonderful food and beers on the menu. I enjoyed a beer (which became my favorite) on their menu thanks to Roberta's suggestion. Ernesto and Paloma were easy to care for and I found Paloma would jump up to my hand to let me know she wanted to be petted. Ernesto took two days to warm up to me but after that, he liked to be near me. Bolzano is such a beautiful town and while there, I got to enjoy the Christmas Market! I also took the train to Merano and enjoyed their Christmas Market as well. I plan to return as many times as Roberta needs me to care for Ernesto and Paloma.

My son and I cared for Roberta's sister's cats in her home in Bolzano over the Christmas Holidays. The cats were sweet and playful (and one a bit shy), and very easy to care for given that all their food and litter had been provided. Roberta and her sister were excellent communicators and the apartment was modern, warm, comfortable and clean, with great internet. It was a great location to walk to the town square and different restaurants daily. We arrived via train and left via bus and so no car was needed.

Roberta has a lovely apartment with two delightful cats, Ernesto & Paloma. Roberta responded very fast to our initial email, she was considerate and flexible. Throughout the seven weeks of our stay we kept in regular contact with her. Being a local, she had many interesting and useful recommendations and suggestions, which we greatly appreciated. Ernesto and Paloma are sweet, easy to love and to look after. Thank you!
