We are a retired professional couple. We are fluent in English and German. Wir sprechen Deutsch.

We are a truly international couple: one from the USA, one from Germany; we lived in Austalia for well over 20 years. In 2016 we moved back to Germany, to Augsburg (near Munich). From 10 acres into a house that was built in 1635!

Von einem 4 ha 'grünem' autarken Anwesen, in ein Haus, das 1635 erbaut wurde.

We love the extremes. Our last property was situated in sub-alpine Victoria, Australia, altitude of nine hundred meters - quite high compared with most of Australia - after living in Melbourne for many years.  It was a 'green' property fully self-contained with only the telephone connected to the 'outside' world. We have had plenty of experience in maintaining our homes (my husband is a great handyman) along with sheds and gardens.

We have also had many occasions to care for our friends' pets: cats, dogs, horses, geese, chicken, fish as well as many others during our house-sits. Our rural home was environmentally friendly, using only solar power with rain/tank water, septic tank etc.We are accustomed to physical work and hence are very fit. We've owned dogs, a cat, and love animals in general.

We each hold several university degrees, play and enjoy listening to music, and love to read and travel extensively domestically and internationally.

We enjoy the outdoors with day hikes and long walks. We are extremely reliable and well organised.

Nani and Robert were absolutely fantastic. They are kind, considerate, and caring. Our home was well looked after, as was our cat. We enjoyed meeting them before the sit and had a great call with them once they had returned home to hear about their adventure. Communication was excellent, and we were rewarded with photos of our cat throughout the sit to let us know she was being well cared for by them. We will definitely keep in touch and would love them to come back.

Nani and Robert stayed in my apartment for 7 weeks, taking care of my 2 cats Ernesto and Paloma. I meet them before my leaving and I immediately realised that I chose the perfect house carers! They send me messages and pictures of my cats, they took good care of the plants too, when I returned home I found it clean and tidy, my cats were healthy and very peaceful, I couldn't have wished for more! I highly recommend them to take care of your home and pets!
