We are a retired couple who grew up in Ireland but have lived in Canada for the past 40 years. With a great deal of experience looking after pets and other peoples homes, our house-sitting career has taken us to France, Spain, United States, Tahiti and several Canadian provinces.

We are healthy non-smokers who love to walk and keep active. We have owned several properties and will treat your home with respect while keeping it spotlessly clean and tidy. Our experience includes looking after dogs, cats, fowl and rabbits. Having owned a swimming pool for many years, we understand the importance of daily care. 

We have travelled extensively, have no problem adjusting to a different culture and are comfortable driving on either side of the road. We love to experience different cultures, eat local foods and meet new people.

A great big thank you to Joy and Noel for looking so well after our home, 2 dogs and hens for 2 months.

The dogs loved them. They took them every day for their favourite walk/ run through the bog, regardless of the irish weather, which can be harsh someday...

They also look after the garden, mowing the lawns which kept growing fast at this time of year.  Nothing was too much for them, they didn't hesitate to go the extra mile to do anything they thought would be needed or helpful, such as some maintenance repairs on the ride-on lawnmower , or cleaning the kitchen presses! 

They were exceptionally good at keeping in touch during the 2 months we were abroad,  sending WhatsApp messages nearly every other day, and a phone call from time to time. 

On the day of our return,  they had a full and delicious dinner ready for us, and not to mention how spotless the house was!

Joy and Noel certainly provided excellence and we recommend them 200% if possible! We are keeping in touch and hope to welcome them back in a near future.
