We are in our mid 50s and retired from responsible jobs (senior administrator at a top Canadian university, IT business owner). We have excellent communication and organizational skills, are culturally sensitive, can think on our feet, and generally play well with others.
As experienced property owners we are familiar with all kinds of house maintenance and can solve problems as they arise. We also owned rental property for a number of years so understand the importance of respect for the property of others. We always maintain a very tidy home and when renting or travelling we treat other people’s spaces as we would like them to treat ours.
We have lived in several homes with large gardens and pools so we are comfortable with outdoor tasks like grass cutting, plant watering and pool maintenance. Having lived in Canada for many years we’re also very familiar with shoveling snow!
We have successfully raised children, cats and other furry creatures and are happy to look after your pets.
We enjoy travelling (40 countries so far), exploring nature, and are fit and don't smoke. Richard lived in England for 36 years before emigrating to Canada and we have lived in Mexico for the last two years.
Oh, and we’re polite ... stereotypes about Canadians are sometimes true!
