Brian and Beth are an adventurous, friendly duo! They looked after our home and two cats for 7 weeks. From the beginning, they were very eager and enthusiastic about a new adventure down here in Ecuador, a place on their bucket list. They were very flexible with dates, which was helpful as we hadn’t booked our flights.
They arrived two days prior to our departure, so we were able to give them a bit of a tour of the town and also go over our needs with the house and cats. Beth is a natural caregiver and took to our cats right away. Brian is a worker bee and likes to have projects, so we offered some and he was happy to put in that work. He even came up with some of his own.
During our time away, Brian and Beth were in charge of feeding our two cats, caring for the general upkeep of our home, and distributing weekly wages to our gardener and another worker from a property we manage. We had regular communication (via email, text message, and/or video chat). If a small problem arose they dealt with it quickly and efficiently. They were good about keeping us informed of any small ‘crisis’ or mishaps (heavy rains causing some flooding, broken kitchen items, etc). As per our request, our home was kept private from guests/ social gathering.
Brian offered to pick us up from the airport, which was very helpful. Upon our return home, it appeared clean and tidy.
All in all, Brian and Beth were great house/pet sitters and I would recommend their services.

Brian and Beth were like fairy godparents who waved a magic wand and made my house beautiful! In reality, they worked hard on home improvements while also taking advantage of all that my home and this region of Spain have to offer. Their main job was to keep the garden weeded and watered, and to clear a huge (I mean HUGE) pile of garden waste from outside the gate. Add to that practically rebuilding my little utility room, painting it, and tidying everything up into cute little containers; replacing a broken window; defeating a huge invasive plant; putting up garden screening; and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning - I've never seen my house as shiny as it was when I came back. A week after returning, and I'm still finding more of the lovely little touches that they made. They also left me with plenty of fresh water, made up the bed, filled the petrol tank, I could go on and on. They seemed to make friends with the entire village, too - all of whom vouch for the fact that they are 'buena gente' - good people. I wholeheartedly recommend them. Brian is the outgoing, humourous one, Beth is quietly considerate and helpful. Well, they are BOTH helpful - just lovely, lovely people. Whoever takes them on next will be a lucky person!
