Hello, we are Vlad & Inna - a professional couple living in NYC Tri-State area for over 40 years.
We are a recently retired couple (an IT executive and a Private Piano teacher). We have been together since kindergarten and pretty much act in unison. We have two wonderful kids who are out of the house, so we are empty nesters. Our retirement has enabled us for unscheduled activities and allowed to consider extended travel possibilities via housesitting option.
We also have been long-time homeowners, so we know how to take care of a house, as well as external grounds. We are very handy and except for very large projects, do everything ourselves. I am no stranger to extensive tools & fixing things and Inna can make the entire house shine. We are very particular about keeping our housing neat & clean and will do no less for your place. On numerous occasions where we have stayed (condos, apartments, houses), we left the place in a better shape than we have found it.
We have traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Caribbean, Europe as well as Australia, East Asia & South America and very recently have cat/housesat in Netherlands. Self-reliance, punctuality and dependability are our motto, as this is how we were brought up. We love to experience different locations and cultures by immersing ourselves in local living and we usually by-pass standard tourist attractions.
We are non-smokers and we tend to enjoy just our own company. I am into photography, mountain biking, finances and reading. Inna is a fantastic cook, wonderful piano player and an amazing knitter who creates true pieces of art. You can often find us in the mountains, as we love nature, walking and hiking or checking out an unusual art gallery. We are both drivers with excellent record and I can drive on both sides. Our security records are as clean as a whistle. We are also fully (quadruple) vaccinated (re Covid protection).
