I would love to be your pet’s “grandma” while you travel. Recently retired, I love adventure but I'm not in a hurry. I like to travel like a local - stroll around the neighborhood, fix my own meals, water the plants and read with a cat on my lap. Depending on the location and assignment, I might bring my sewing machine and construct quilts while I’m there (if you don’t mind). (I can also mend and do bookkeeping if you have those needs.)
As a responsible homeowner myself I will keep the property tidy and can trouble shoot problems should any arise. I’m a cat person (currently with an 8 yr old DSH), but also fondly had a dog named Fuzzy years ago. Your family will be my family while I am visiting at your place.
My goals are local and international. If visiting the Pacific NW I would bring my car. In the past I have volunteered with non-profit organizations in Central America and Africa. Hablo espanol. I’d love 2-3 month house sits where I can take in local culture, nature, history and culinary delights at my own pace. My bucket list includes New Zealand, Ireland, Great Britian, France, Spain, to name a few specific locations. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.
