Hello! We’re Kim & Tristan, dog lovers and adventurers originally from Colorado and Alaska, and currently living in back in Alaska for the moment.

We know how hard it can be to leave your home and furry loved ones behind when you travel. Before our rescue dog, Nani, passed away a few years ago, whenever we couldn’t take her with us, our biggest concern was always making sure we found someone we trusted to take good care of her. So we understand how important it is to leave your home and dogs in good hands.

Why We Want to Dog House Sit

Since our current landlord doesn't allow us to have pets, dog sitting is the next best thing! It provides the furry companionship we miss plus a comfortable place to stay while we explore our wonderful world, meeting new people and experiencing new places.

More importantly, though, it gives you the peace of mind knowing your home and dog(s) are well looked after while you’re away, and we promise to care for both your home and dogs like they're our own.

Plenty of Attention & Love

We both work online with very flexible schedules, which means we have lots of time to dedicate to caring for your pup(s), making sure to give plenty of love and attention, and as much exercise as needed. We’re very active and are happy to take them for long walks and hikes.

It also gives us ample opportunity to be around your home, keeping a watchful eye on it. Basically, we want you to be able to relax while you're away knowing everyone and everything’s in good hands.

Hey there,

Kim and Tristan stayed at my place for over a month taking care of my three dogs. My dogs are very nice but also very active, so I always found it a challenge to find the right housesitter. Regardless, Kim and Tristan took care of them very well and all went fine. During their stay at my place, I could take advantage and travel to Spain knowing that my dogs and home were in good hands. 

I am very happy and thankful for your visit.

Kim and Tristan housesat our 3 dogs plus a new foster on fairly short notice.  They did a great job particularly with the new foster who had just come from being left in a cage at a vet for 2 months and so was a bit barky.  The house was immaculate when we returned and clearly the dogs were well taken care of.  We got regular updates from them and they took the dogs on walks and spent lots of time with them.  We would love to have the opportunity to have them housesit for us again when we can.
