Hello!  I am an active, retired (from special education, co-owner of construction equipment manufacturing and roofing companies, high-tech recruiter) woman of many experiences  who appreciates learning about new locations and immersiving myself into different communities.  I have owned and maintained numerous houses and condos over the years.  I have loved the many pets I have had.  An avid gardener, I am a responsible, upbeat individual who would be honored to ensure the comfort and safety of your pets and home!

We feel so fortunate to have had such a wonderful caregiver for our dogs and home! Kathy was responsive, friendly and left our home clean, our plants watered and our pups happy and well exercised. We were able to go away without worry and would absolutely love to have Kathy back again in the future. She comes highly recommended by Dolly and Tiki too!

Kathryn was great. Extremely neat, lovely with the kitty, respectful of our place. I felt very comfortable having her stay at our home. She took advantage of the excellent hiking we have in our area, hiking many places I haven't even gotten to yet! She even took excellent care of my sourdough starter. Ky  took very good care of my active labradoodle and my laid back but very demanding kitty cat.  She proved to be a very conscientious and organized person as my house was cleaner upon my return than when I left it.  Ky also cleaned up and groomed all of my house and porch plants and fed my birds- neither of which had I asked her to do but appreciated greatly. I look forward to having her back!

Kathryn and Jeff were the Best! We communicated via email and phone initially to get started. Everything was clear with quick responses. Although we never met before or after the sit I felt confident through our conversations and reviews that my home and furry boys were in good hands. 

When I returned home it was very clean and the critters were happy! So were my plants. I would be delighted to have Kathryn and Jeff back anytime they are available. Hoping to meet in person in the near future!

I couldn't have been happier with the care and love this terrific couple brought to my housesit. Because i had an early flight on the 4th, they came a day earlier and stayed at a hotel that night so that we could meet before I left. I really appreciated that!

From the start, I knew that Little One was in good hands, literally, watching Jeffrey hold him in his arms as i do, a baby. and my kitty was immediately purring and in no hurry to leave. I explained to them that he needed some extra care with oral med twice daily for his diarrhea issue. They kept in touch with me, when they needed to or to give me reassurance with some good news or just pictures of him relaxed and happy. They spoke directly to my vet on my behalf and asked all the right questions and reported back to me.

My home was left in perfect condition and my outdoor plants never looked better. It was a total joy coming home to the cleanliness and greenery. They followed my list of instructions about caring for everything perfectly!

They were also compassionate with my kitty regardless of the trouble and since then, Kathryn texted to find out how everything was and especially, Little One. There's no better feeling than truly knowing your sitter has enjoyed your animal.

Both K and J were a pleasure to know and I certainly hope our catsitting paths with coincide again!

I could not express my gratitude enough for the excellent job Kathyn and Jeff did housesitting while i was away. Very nice and easy going people. When I returned home my house was cleaner than when I left it and my dog "Scooter" took a liking to them immediately. I found Kathryn and Jeff to be extremely conscientious and followed every instruction to the letter.

I highly recommend Kathryn and Jeff , I give them a five star rating

This was our first experience with HouseCarers, and it could not have been more ideal.  K & J arrived the afternoon before we left, giving us a chance to spend time together, show them Lola's routine.  It turns out we have much in common, and felt immediately comfortable knowing our dog and home would be well cared for.

Indeed, when we got back Lola was relaxed and happy and our house was as we'd left it - clean and neat.  K & I texted a few times over the three days we were away, and she sent photos of them together on hikes at the local Arboretum.

kysitters are lovely, delightful folks - and we're grateful for all they did!
