Low-maintenance 12-year-old cat needs catering to. Indoor/outdoor freedom from sunrise to sunset, but he must stay indoors at night. Kitty cannot be left alone for more than 8 hours max if you want to explore. Guest bedroom is a queen-sized bed up the stairs on 2nd story with an adjacent full bath. There is central AC, but it's cool enough on the mountainside to leave windows open for fresh air and the sound of birds until the day heats up (summer months can be hot.) Kitty likes to sleep near people.
No yard work required beyond watering/trimming, leaf raking, hand-watering potted plants. Location is in the hillside suburban community of Makakilo (West Oahu) on a generally quiet cul-de-sac in a safe, walker-friendly neighborhood. Everything you need is located within 2-3 miles down the hill in the city of Kapolei. Vehicle provided for short trips within a 10-mile radius, longer trips OK upon mutual agreement in advance. We will do airport pick-ups and drop-offs. No smoking allowed.
Internet/WIFI connection is good, but there is no cable TV --- this is Hawai'i and it's far too nice outdoors to be sitting watching TV when there is an ocean view outside. Beach is a 15 minute drive away. Outside/overnight guests or friends are not allowed. This will be a low-stress, easy stay with a low-maintenance feline.
